Competition Process |
Any ALSB member who has not won this competition within the past three years may submit a proposal as described below. The 2023 Master Teacher, Mark S. Shapiro of University of Miami's Herbert Business School, will chair a panel of distinguished professors to evaluate the proposals in a double blind peer-review method. Four finalists will be selected.
Each of the four finalists will present for 35 minutes at the 2024 Master Teacher Symposium, and all four finalists will be acknowledged at the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the 2024 ALSB Conference. Based on the votes of attendees at the teaching symposium, a 2024 Master Teacher will be named. |
Submit your materials by Monday, May 1, 2024. |
Submitted proposals must be received by 10:00 PM Eastern Time on Monday, May 1, 2024. Any problems with the submission process are the responsibility of the competitor; account for potential delay if you are not comfortable with electronic submission.
When you have completed your submission, click the Submit my Proposal button below. A new window with a Google Form will open. (Be sure pop-up blockers aren't intercepting it.) Fill out the short form and upload the submission file from your computer. If this automatic submission process makes you nervous, click the "Request for Confirmation" button to contact the competition chair for assistance.
